Meet the line cook with delusions of grandeur.
In 2017, I relocated from Houston to Portland after Hurricane Harvey devastated the gulf coast. Oregon’s dedication to sustainable food practices have led me to call this place home. During my career I’ve sourced locally to shorten supply chains and keep my finger on the pulse of what’s fresh. The last four years stole the art of a good meal well prepared from us. My goal is to bring hospitality and quality back to the industry. My staff are paid a living wage and 100% of the service gratuity goes into their pockets.  By choosing The Tasting Spoon, my clients are placing money directly in the hands of hard working Oregonians.  I look forward to building up my neighbors in the coming years.
